The Inventory Control Assistant will report to the Inventory Control Manager and be responsible for the inventory control process, ensuring data integrity both physically and within the ERP system are accurate. This position will partner closely with other warehouse departments therefore the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail is critical. The Inventory Specialist will be required to understand each area within the fulfillment process to better lead and assist fulfillment wide projects and initiatives. Being a proactive self-starter who enjoys working in a high-energy and team-oriented environment with the ability to positively motivate and lead others are key attributes for this position.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Conduct cycle count reports; conducts both unscheduled and scheduled cycle counts
  • Manage the yearly physical inventory and partnership with outside auditors and various departments within Snap One
  • Count and validate material or supply in stock and compare balances to inventory records
  • Identify, research and recommend corrective action for inventory discrepancies
  • Manage all goods issued and goods receipts of material
  • Oversee transfer of goods between warehouses
  • Process manufacturing scrap and make recommendations on ways to reduce or mitigate scrap loss and lead scrap reduction efforts
  • Analyze and process obsolete materials for disposal
  • Actively participate and implement process improvement to inventory flow
  • Enforce standard safety procedures within a warehouse setting

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in all phases of Inventory Control
  • Ability to think strategically and make decisions based on research and analysis
  • Demonstrated problem-solver with strong client/ relationship abilities
  • Able to lift 50lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
