VCA maximizes success through customized and highly responsive service, and delivery of food ingredients, products, and packaging.Valley was recognized as Vendor of the Year by the Wisconsin Bakers Association in 2023 for our many contributions as a proactive industry partner.Job SummaryThe Inventory Control Associate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of our entire warehouse, managing customer warehouse pickups, and maintaining accurate records of all stock items. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of inventory management.Position ResponsibilitiesConducting regular inventory checks of the entire warehouseAssisting customers with warehouse pickups in a timely and professional mannerPerforming physical inventory counts of every pick bay to ensure accuracyMaintaining all location stickers within the warehouse and printing new labelsRecoding voice check digits to maintain data integritySlotting seasonal and pre-order items according to designated storage areasManaging replenishment quantities to optimize stock levels and prevent shortagesDemonstrating regular and predictable attendance to meet operational needsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in inventory management or related field preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency in basic computer skills, inventory management software, and Excel preferredValley Cooperative Association is an equal opportunity employer.
