About the Role:
Under limited supervision, the Inventory Control Clerk I accounts for all WIP and Finished Goods parts in Molding and Production for all locations.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:
* Performs cycle counts in all assigned locations on a cyclical basis to improve and maintain accuracy levels. Maintains records of accuracy levels and raw data.
* Assists in identifying inventory critical part shortage information to production control and scheduling.
* Identifies and documents any errors in the storage of component parts.
* Operates equipment including forklift, mechanical pallet jack, scales, and scissor-lift in a safe manner to support cycle count operations.
* Works with Inventory Coordinator to resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner. Liaises with all departments.
* Performs all necessary transactions in JD Edwards.
* Assists with the root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.
* Overtime may be required.
Education/Training Required and Preferred:
* High School.
* APICS or similar training preferred.
Experience Required and Preferred:
* Minimum 1-3 years of experience in inventory control or related field.
What You Bring:
* Must have valid Florida driver license with a good driving record, eligible to be insured, and be able to pass the in?house forklift test.
* Requires basic computer skills in the use of JD Edwards and Microsoft Office.
* Detail oriented. Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations and use a weight counting scale.
* Requires initiative and the ability to work within timelines with minimum supervision.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Product and parts knowledge preferred.
