This is a full-time position located on-site at our Modesto Distribution Center. As an Inventory Clerk, it will be your responsibility to greet incoming visitors and team members in person and on phone in a friendly manner. You will be responsible to track current production levels and record purchases and products maintained at our Distribution Center. In this role, you must be flexible with your start time and open to working weekends and overtime as needed. This position will be primarily responsible for:
- Assist and validate purchases with receiving and unloading inventory and purchased items.
- Provide Union team members with supplies as needed.
- Maintain inventory logs with high level of accuracy including adjusting, editing, troubleshooting, etc.
- Prepare items to be sent via company inter-office.
- Reviewing and confirming Bills of Lading for accuracy.
- Cross-train with all team members in Inventory Clerk roles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year of experience in data entry.
- Demonstrated ability of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to follow directions.
- Team player.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 35+ WPM with at least 95% accuracy.
Physical Requirements: Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling;rare stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity:75% or more sitting,25% or less walking, and 25% or less standing. The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in an office environment. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
