What you get to do: In this key role, you'll work with Merchandise leadership to monitor, track, and ensure the smooth flow of goods. You'll also strive to ensure accurate pricing and inventory data integrity. Your focus will be on helping us meet and exceed our financial goals. You will:

  • Ensure the proper flow of goods from Warehouse to stores.
  • Verify and enter all Purchase Order receipts.
  • Research PO receipt variances with warehouse team.
  • Manage local region SKU set-up and inventory management.
  • Validate retail pricing and communicate changes to affected teams.
  • Update min/max for retail stores of region.
  • Confirm and process shop-to-shop and inter-department transfers.
  • Handle cycle count processing to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Reconciliation of daily sales across multiple POS platforms.
  • Create ad-hoc reporting for senior leadership.
  • Assist in identifying and solving process issues and communicate with key contributors.
  • Participate in annual inventory processing.
  • Maintain all record retention for the department.
  • Process local damage inventory adjustments
  • Identify and communicate vendor compliance policy variances.
  • Support department SAP requisitions
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with in-park and corporate teams, and merchandise vendors.
  • Complete all department month-end data entries and submit reports to Finance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
  • 2 years of experience in Inventory Control, or Data Processing equivalent, required.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Dependability, integrity, and organization.
  • Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to set priorities and adjust based on additional and unexpected tasks.
  • Must consistently meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote etc.) Intermediate Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Willingness to learn key SeaWorld programs (e.g., MMS, Retail Ideas, SAP, X-Admin)
  • Typical work hours are 7:00am - 3:30pm. Must have flexibility to work varying shifts/hours, including early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
