****Responsibilities****
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for controlling inventory of finished goods required for projected or forecasted sales and distribution demand.
* Oversees master scheduling, materials handling, inventory turnover, customer service levels, stocking decisions, forecasting and administrative controls.
* Analyzes inventory levels, positioning and production and sales forecasts.
* Develops and maintains inputs to computerized inventory system.
* Coordinates liquidation and transfer of stock to reflect cost, age and demand.
* Initiates actions in out-of-stock situations.
* Ensures appropriate routing, scheduling and storing of goods.
****Qualifications****
Education:
* High School degree or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
Experience:
* 1 year of related experience is required.
