Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, helping our customers manage the flow or liquids, gases and powders across many industries worldwide. Due to a global technology rollout project, we are looking to appoint a Inventory Control Coordinator to support our team for the implementation in Rochester, NY.

Job Description

This role is a 12 month contract with a salary range of $48,000 to $60,000 per annum.

This position is responsible for inventory control transactions from receipt of raw material to shipment of finished product. The duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work in a safe manner and comply with Rotork Environmental Health and Safety Policies identifying and resolving potential hazards
  • Intercompany goods inward receipts, external Supplier goods inward receipts
  • Coordinate delivery of incoming containers and work closely with freight forwarders
  • Provide HTS code information to Freight forwarder as required
  • Resolution of Inventory reconciliation issues
  • Coordinate and resolve daily/weekly Cycle counts
  • Complete MRB scrap transactions
  • Responsible for identifying and escalating any damaged or unsafe equipment, using safety spot/bob process.
  • Take pride in the workplace and carry out 5s and housekeeping requirements.
  • Inspect, check, and confirm receipt of all goods into the warehouse
  • Consolidation of stock, maintaining batch control and FIFO to maximize space
  • Key user for warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems

The successful candidate will contribute to all warehouse metrics, performance, and root cause countermeasures, inclusive of EHS.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Previous experience of warehousing and/or inventory control
  • Previous experience and knowledge of warehouse safety
  • Valid Forklift truck license
  • Able to work well as part of a team, good communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail, with a logical and methodical thinking

Desirable

  • Familiarization with Warehouse management systems
