The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and ensuring accurate inventory by counting, processing transfers, and implementing inventory control procedures. This position is also tasked with coordinating daily physical cycle counts, as well as training associates assisting in inventory. What You Do
- Maintains all product bin locations along with inventory located at Corporate or Montevallo facilities
- Performs daily adjustments to maintain accuracy
- Performs cycle counts
- Performs regular and quarterly analysis of all inventory
- Assists during bank inventory audits and annual warehouse inventory.
- Assist Distribution Associates in locating product when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Always follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports
- Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One to two years of progressive experience in distribution/supply chain environment preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily
- Forklift certification required
- Experience using equipment including but not limited to hand truck, order picker, pallet jack, and electric jack required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability with analytical thinking and problem-solving, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with desktop and software including, Microsoft Outlook and Excel required
- Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required.
