Shift: 3rd Shift*: 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Sunday - ThursdayDuration: 03 MonthsPay range: $25.30 Hourly- $25.30 HourlyOnsite JobJob Description: A DAY IN THE LIFE:The Inventory Coordinator II is responsible and accountable for delivering the following:Potential for overtime and flexible shifts*.- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and participating in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) programs. Engaged in the Safety program by working safely and identifying safety concerns and issues.- Responsible for knowledge of all warehouse inventory and shipping processes and ensures that all procedures are followed, improved upon as the need arises, and procedures are kept up to date.- Perform department activities to achieve organizational goals, shipping accuracy, shipping to schedule and material handling.- Accurately perform cycle count activities. Performs analysis and corrects cycle count discrepancies, regularly audits locations to ensure quality and accuracy and document results.- Support manufacturing by staging manufacturing materials according to order requirements ensuring delivery of said materials in alignment with the manufacturing schedule.- Connect with planning/purchasing to gain awareness of inbound volume and of materials to ship. Process in-house material requests in an expedited fashion.- Support Practical Process Improvement (PPI) at the site as applicable to work area and scope of responsibility.- Develop and complete continuous improvement initiatives.- Able to cross train as assigned. Performs other duties, projects, as assigned.=== EDUCATION: ===High school diploma/GED.=== EXPERIENCE: ===Band 2 (Distribution):- Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse or supply chain or related field- Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)- Proficiency in MS Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software platforms.- Strong written and oral communication skills.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:- Knowledge of computer applications and current software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENTWork in a controlled manufacturing environment; is required to lift 25 lbs. may be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties. Ability to work safely with materials and equipment.
