**Overview:**

The Manager of Inventory Control will be an integral member of our growing team at vineyard vines and will assume full ownership of the inventory control function. In this role, you will continually assess our operational and system processes to ensure were performing at the very highest levels of accuracy and control around our inventory.

**You Will:**

* Oversee the month end close process for Inventory Control, approving all adjustments and partnering with Accounting

* Ensure the completion of all inventory reconciliations, including purchase price clearing accounts and reserves

* Lead regular reconciliations of Inventory Counts, Purchasing, Damages, and other key inventory transactions

* Own the accuracy of our inventory data, partnering with our Technology team to resolve systems issues

* Develop processes for more efficiently tracking consignment inventory

* Provide feedback and expertise on controls to internal stakeholders across our Supply Chain and Retail facilities

* Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Inventory Control professionals

* Consult on strategic projects and day-to-day operations, ensuring all processes adhere to sufficient controls and minimize risk

* Advise the company on system implementations and impacts to inventory control

* Help the company transition from an annual physical to cycle counting

**What you bring:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

* Minimum 8+ years in Inventory leadership

* Retail/Apparel industry experience preferred

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Must have experience automating and streamlining the inventory function

* Must have experience working with standard costing

* Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

* Organizational skills are essential as well as the ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
