**Title: Inventory Control Manager ( Non-Remote)**

**Department: Inventory Control/ Finance**

**Location: 355 Food Center Drive, Bronx Distribution Center ( Non Remote )**

**Overview:**

**The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the accurate control, internal and external reporting of all Food Bank inventory, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures and maintaining effective internal control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory received, distributed and other inventory areas.**

**Essential Functions and Basic Duties:**

** Assure compliance with operating procedures and policies affecting internal control over end-to-end inventory movement**

** Provides management with updates and reports on inventory issues and updates to Standard Operating Procedures.**

** Maintain proper documentation of processes in detail both within inventory control responsibility and related parties/processes that effect the product and data flow**

** Direct the returns process and ensure that product is credited in all systems in a timely manner**

** Conduct investigations of inventory discrepancies and route cause analysis for timely resolution**

** Understands the processes used within the warehouse to receive, move and pick inventory. Identify risks from an inventory control perspective as well as opportunities to streamline processes without risk to inventory control.**

** Serve as a resource to other teams regarding proper processes to ensure inventory control**

** Partner with other teams (warehouse staff, logistics, member services) who have a role in the movement of inventory to ensure they understand impact on inventory accuracy**

** Coordinate with warehouse team regarding cycle counts and analyze findings with recommendations for improvement**

** Lead inventory audit process for annual financial audit and all government audits**

** Develop business relationships with WMS and ERP vendors**

** Ensure proper processes in place for WMS system to integrate into ERP system. Utilize inventory discrepancy report and relative details by order, pallet and transaction to ensure the two systems stay in sync. Any disconnects should be identified for root cause and corrected**

** Test new methods in NetSuite and review AGI integration. Develop rigorous testing process to ensure changes are fully vetted before launch and continue to monitor to ensure expected results are achieved**

** Create monthly reporting with validations to other systems/information to ensure accurate data**

** Develop exception reporting to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner**

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* **Bachelors degree is preferred and/or equivalent related experience.**

* **Four (4) or more years of inventory, quality control, and/or warehouse management experience.**

* **Solid understanding of receiving and shipping functions**

* **Must have strong knowledge of all warehouse procedures and functions required**

**Skills/Abilities:**

* **Excellent verbal and written communication skills**

* **Strong math and analytical skills**

* **Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel with vlookup and pivot tables**

* **Excellent organization and time management skills**
