JSM Airport Services, LLC (a subsidiary of JSM & Associates, LLC) is seeking a professional, skilled individual for an Inventory Control/Parts Clerk to complete our team in the Nashville International Airport, located in Nashville, TN. This is a hands-on position that will be heavilyinvolved in all aspects of maintenance of our customer's spare parts inventory. The Inventory Control/Parts Clerk is tasked to maintain an inventory of spare parts to enable our maintenance technicians to perform repairs. This position is charged with assisting the Inventory Supervisor with keeping inventory at a level where the maintenance operation can perform at maximum efficiency, together with supporting the operation's maintenance technicians and other functions within the organization.Compensation:Hourly Pay Rate: Up to $18.50 (Dependent on Experience)Paid weeklyBenefits:Full medical benefits after 60 days of employment (health, vision, dental, short term-long term)SPTO accrued starting Day 1.SPTO is available to use after 60 days of employmentExpanding company with professional growth potential$125.00 towards work boots (Grainger)7 Paid Holidays401KTuition Reimbursement ProgramCompany paid Life InsuranceKey Accountabilities:Record and update inventory usage of supplies and parts through MaximoEnsure that Maximo Work Order information and reports contain the correct and most current pricing and parts descriptionsMaintain spare parts inventory; ensuring all parts are identified and readily available in secure locationsMaintain the parts storage rooms and the disposal of used parts, as pre-approved by the AAREnsure and coordinate the timely reconditioning of those items warranting refurbishment and reconditioning, versus replacement, as approved by the AARSubmit proper documentation to the Project Accountant for cycle billing to the AARConduct, document, and complete a full inventory of all spare parts on a quarterly basisReceive parts at the dock, baggage claim, and/or escort through security gateHold or be able to obtain a forklift operator certificationEnsure adequate parts are in stock or readily available, quantities are sufficient, and proper parts are available for all applicationsAssist Inventory Supervisor to oversee inventory accuracy and ensure labor and materials are correctly entered into EAMS Maximo systemPerform as a purchasing agent and assist the Inventory Supervisor, as neededFollow the materials and parts usage procedure from work orders to update inventoryEnsure that all major equipment and systems listed, and identified, in the Maximo database have the correct OEM replacement parts and approved alternate parts listedConduct Cycle Counts per the Inventory Control scheduleAssist in periodic reviews of the parts inventory regarding the following:Changes in the Min/Max levelsAdditions or deletions of inventory based on usageInstalled systems, equipmentPart led timesMaintain a clean and organized work areaAny other duties assigned by ManagementRequired Work Experience:1(+) years of experience in inventory or warehouse1(+) years of experience in parts procurement - preferred, but not requiredWorking knowledge of Inventory Control concepts and processesMust be able to read, speak, and understand EnglishComputer software applications experience required (i.e., MS Office, ERP, etc.)Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress, offering solutions to resolve issues.Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHighly professional and dependable, Safety and Customer Service orientedPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to sit, stand, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, or crawl on a frequent basisAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to withstand exposure to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditionsEducational Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredSome post high school education or training preferredThis full-time, non-exempt position will be located on-site, at the Nashville International Airport, located in Nashville, TN. Our team works various schedules as this is a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation. The work week will be a schedule of 40 hours in total, with the shifts scheduled for either Sunday to Wednesday, or Wednesday to Saturday. Shift assignments are determined based on the requirements of the airport and the company, together with a technician's strengths, skill set, and experience. Our technicians are expected to be flexible with regards to potential changes in shift assignments.
