Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYCompiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment by performing the following duties.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute problem solving processes on assigned tasks and execute ECC6 SAP|GIB transactions as assigned.
  • Maintains physical and transaction controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods). Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified with visual management and readily accessible to authorized personnel.
  • Conducts regular physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records.
  • Ensures that quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments are correct.
  • Conducts analyses of inventory levels and coordinates with production and sales requirements.
  • Key team member assigned duties during scheduled physical inventory event.
  • Investigates Work Order Variances.
  • Problem solves inventory below expected entitlement levels (stockouts).
  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.
  • Prepare reports summarizing daily activity.
  • Accounts for all materials and supplies; audits goods received into warehouse.
  • Problem solves any receipt discrepancies with assigned buyer planner.
  • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
  • Responsible for documenting or editing operating procedures.
  • Responsible for creating solutions on part presentation and space utilization.
  • May perform variety of duties in the organization's warehouse; including shipping or receiving; processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Safe operations of any material handling equipment.
  • Responsible for following all assigned safety policies.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong ECC6 SAP|GIB experience required.
  • Must have the ability to manage diverse volume of work and manage appropriate priorities which involve a high frequency of change.
  • Strong computer skills including expertise in Microsoft 365 Products.
  • Demonstrated ability and attention to detail and accuracy related to inventory reporting.
  • Ability to read and interpret routine Power BI reports.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
  • Ability to speak effectively before employees throughout the organization.
  • Ability to quickly develop proficiency in new programs.
  • Polished professional communication skills and personal presentation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 Years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in shipping/receiving or planning role.
  • Experience with ECC6 SAP|GIB and MS Office Suite.
  • Material handling experience preferred.
