We have an outstanding Contract position for anInventory Control Specialistto join a leading Company located in theGarden City, NYsurrounding area.Pay Rate: $25This position controls the inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans.Responsibilities :Monitors and updates schedules to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controlsAnalyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules to help guide reordering levels for product availabilitySupports with the inventory systemWorks with the Material Handlers in supporting the operation's on-time effortsOther duties as assignedBasic Hiring Criteria :High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3-5 years of previous materials experience or applicable experience requiredDue to contracts with the United States Government, the candidate must be either a US Citizen or a Green card holderDesired Qualifications :Must be able to complete heavy work assignments while remaining detail-orientedMust be a team player with a strong work ethic and can work in a face paced environmentMust have a flexible schedule to be able to work overtime as requiredMust be able to communicate, in English effectively both in written and verbal formKnowledgeable with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Agile, or any other ERP system) is a plusAbility to lift at 40lbs and have the ability to constantly be standing for at least 6-8 hours during the dayBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
