General Description

Calculates, posts business transactions, verifies financial data for use in maintaining inventory records.

This position works in-person at the Lids corporate office in NW Indianapolis.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Active member of the Inventory Accounting Team.

• Responsible for executing the company's efforts to maintain inventory integrity.

• Directly works with multiple departments within the supply chain, including buying and merchandising, store operations, and DC operations and produces results-based solutions to resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in maintaining synchronization of warehouse inventory.

• Monitor inventory adjustments for accuracy.

• Work with accounts payable to resolve discrepancies on invoices.

• Troubleshoots discrepancies by executing analysis with minimal guidance.

• Ability to file paperwork and maintain an organized work atmosphere.

• Ability to maintain an excellent attendance record.

• Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Communicate with employees at all levels of the company.

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Required Knowledge & Skills

• Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear, audible, and grammatically correct manner.

• Ability to read and operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.

• Viewing a computer screen for up to 90% of the work time.

• Operating a computer keyboard for up to 90% of the work time.

Preferred Job Knowledge & Skills

• 1-3 years of relevant experience or some college education preferred.

• Strong skillset with Microsoft Excel.
