Description
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for ROI
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure inventory levels are sufficient to meet demand
  • Analyze inventory data to identify patterns and trends and make recommendations for inventory optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement solutions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's inventory management system
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other key performance indicators
Additional Role and Responsibility:
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, including continuous quality improvement objectives and safety and environmental objectives.
  • Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Direct others in preparing or loading outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
  • Promote a safe working environment with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security Programs.
  • Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer
  • Maintain the work area and equipment clean and orderly and follow prescribed safety regulations

RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or related field
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with DOT HAZMAT, shipping & receiving preferred
  • Safely and efficiently operate a forklift (preferred)
Knowledge, Skill & Competencies Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingual - Communicate (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Preferred: Intermediate Microsoft Office Programs i.e., Excel, Word

  • Analytical aptitude, commitment to accuracy and quality, problem-solving skills, attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and accuracy
  • Forklift certified
  • High attention to detail
  • Team oriented
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collectively.
  • Time management, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks & multiple priorities

  • General plant environment, including regularly required standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, bowing, or crouching and using hands to finger, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms, grasp, lift/ pick up, and type.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Position requires occasional long hours, work on the evenings, occasional weekends or holidays when needed.
  • Must be able to pass the company's Drug & Alcohol Screenings.
