About the job Inventory Control Specialist Inventory Control SpecialistKey Responsibilities:
Assist with ERP - SAP -Inventory systems operations. Coordinates and manages the daily transfer of materials. Resolves any discrepancies found. Monitors and maintains accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure that quantities that appear in the system are accurate. Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory. Analyze inventory for accuracy of product: fitting, pipe and tubes Routinely monitors stock levels and corrects any inventory discrepancies. May also complete job closures /inputs into the inventory management system. Serve as backup to the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. Transfer of materials for production use. Notifies manager or delegate of any observed deviations in a timely manner. Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production Generate and process invoices and purchase orders. Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns. Qualifications & Requirements:
- Intermediate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP, Microsoft Excel & Outlook, inventory systems experience. (preferred)
- Effective communication orally and written in a professional manor, highly organized and able to multi-task, ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Forklift (preferred)
- Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices. (Preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) (required)
- Work Environment: Manufacturing = Fabrication Pipe Yard & office.
