Empire Distributors Inc, A Leading Beverage Distributor is now hiring a Inventory Control Specialist. Supports the execution of all processes and procedures related to inventory accuracy for the Distribution Center. Verifies warehouse bin accuracy and prevents inventory shrinkage. Utilizes Warehouse Management System and various types of material handling equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Investigates inventory discrepancies and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.
* Investigates bin location variances and takes appropriate corrective action to resolve.
* Researches problem orders and receipts for the Distribution Center.
* Inputs data into warehouse management system, databases and reporting tools.
* Performs system entries to maintain inventory and bin accuracy to include: cycle counts, pick exceptions, and bin maintenance.
* Collects, maintains and provides detailed statistics and reports on various performance measurements.
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Forklift certification.
