Compensation The compensation target range for this role is: $29.50 - $31.00 Job Summary Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of 6-8 Inventory control specialist meet Purple's high quality and inventory standards. This is to include maintaining overall bin accuracy of 98.5% and financial Accuracy of 99.5%. Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive Safety in the plant by ensuring the highest standards for all associates
  • Mentor, Motivate, and train a high performing solutions-based team
  • Lead or collaborate with site wide initiative for continuous improvement and 5S projects
  • Work alongside other supervisors in their respective departments and problem solve their inventory inefficiencies by offering solutions through special projects and planning
  • Drive an initiative of bin accuracy throughout the plant by collaborating with supervisors and line managers to help them understand inventory related issues
  • Monitor transactions from Netsuite and Highjump to ensure the system is controlled and accurate in each platform
  • Deep dive inventory related issues throughout the operations which could include: Warehouse, Receive, Wholesale, DTC, Assembly, IMM, Max, Returns, Scrim, and more
  • Deploy resources from team in troubled inventory related issues and input long term solutions that will effectively help bottom line
  • Manage associates Vacation, PTO/ Sick time, and timecard accuracy
  • Lead Team in Quarterly Cycle Count. (At the end of Each quarter)
  • Ensure quarterly cycle count plan is completed.
  • Ability to build out data on performance in each area including progress in projects, KPI's to stakeholders, and other requests made by Sr. Leadership
  • Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Human Resources, and production
  • Responsible for ensuring all BBSO, Bridge trainings, and other trainings for associates and your self are up to date. (Each Month)
  • Stand and walk during shifts that may last up to 12 hours
  • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work in an environment where noise levels vary and is subject to variable temperatures and weather
  • This role is subject to shift changes based off demand of operation. (30 days' notice will be given)
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
  • Insists on the highest standards for customers
  • Close attention to detail
  • Can read, write, and use excel
  • Has the ability to identify potential hazards that could impact the quality of our products getting to our customers
  • Familiar with High Jump
  • Good Communication skills and team oriented
  • Strong Math Skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50LBS
  • Ability to stand > 8 hours a day.
  • High school diploma required
  • Quality Assurance/ Control background preferred
Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 15 pounds in all directions
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
  • Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned
  • Noisy open production environment
