Our purpose is to help our clients influence the emotions of the audience through engaging, creative, and sustainable event production.The Inventory Control Technician will perform duties to check in, sort, and track audiovisual products, load/unload trucks, return product to inventory and assist with any range of warehouse operations to track inventory and fulfill customer orders, working within the limits of prescribed routines.We are searching for Full-Time and Part-time.Typical duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop working knowledge of the order fulfillment process including the scanning of equipment and the resolution of each R2 / FLEX discrepancy when scanning inbound and outbound equipment.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of order paperwork as it relates to quotes and contracts. The technician can determine what serial and non-serial items are required to fill a rental or show order after reviewing the paperwork.
- Demonstrates the basic equipment knowledge to turn around equipment on show site from one order to another while using order paperwork.
- Ability to receive cross rentals and process cross rental returns using proper documentation.
- Determine what serial and non-serial items are required to fill a rental or show order after reviewing the paperwork.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the process and usefulness of determining the status of equipment within the inventory tracking software.
- Ability to assist with basic Audio Visual set ups for both rental and show orders
- Work in show teams as required supporting all disciplines to pull and track inventory, set up equipment, run cable, perform prescribed standard tests on equipment, and otherwise prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive and review rental reservations and show orders. Gather information and record required data on manifests, including case number, description, and bar code identification, country of origin, value, and weight as required based on domestic or international shipping requirements. Visually check orders to ensure that all ancillary elements required are included with order and to identify and report on cosmetic discrepancies. Locate missing elements of orders and ensure that orders are complete. Report the need for repairs identified from visual inspection and make standard or routine cosmetic repairs as required, including cleaning and reapplication of labels.
- Unload trucks, return equipment following rental to customers, stage returned product in designated warehouse location, open and visually inspect condition of returned product, prepare and affix tags to indicate the requirement for cleaning and repair of specified product and report obvious damaged or missing product. Scan barcodes to record the return of product to inventory.
- Load trucks as directed, assisting to position cases to ensure proper balancing of loads and to avoid shifting or damage in transit.
- Assist to perform any warehouse operations as required including attending to the needs of visitors picking up or returning product, making local deliveries, counting and tracking warehouse consumables, and responding to inquiries from internal staff or customers.
To be a successful Inventory Control Technician you should have:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Experience with audio visual equipment is preferred
