Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and reduce excess inventory. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and generate reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and stock levels. Utilize data to forecast inventory needs and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, sales, and production teams to ensure alignment on inventory needs and resolve any inventory-related issues.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards related to inventory management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related role. Experience with inventory management software is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google counterparts. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Communication:Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Position Description

Performs a variety of duties in receiving, issuing, handling, and accounting for inventory stock to ensure that all materials are available for plant operations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Determines, maintains and reviews inventory accuracy through cycle counting, annual inventory and the inventory turn process and makes corrections as necessary.
  • Verifies material shipment and delivery with internal and external customers.
  • Maintains tracking of deviations and engineering change notices (ECN).
  • Schedules material and work flow using current software and other related computer programs.
  • Oversees and assists in directing the duties of the lead dispatcher.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • Basic blueprint reading
    • Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
    • Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement
    • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
    Education High School diploma Experience Requirements

    Extensive inventory management experience

    Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material, may be required to lift up to 70lbs. Generally good working conditions. Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
