SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general supervision of the Public Works Director or his/her designee. SUPERVISION EXERCISED None. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receives and stores a variety of supplies, material and equipment. Maintains a perpetual inventory; Stores records and reports on a computer. Verify materials received against requisitions and invoices to determine propriety of order and inspect articles for quality control purposes. Prepares monthly inventory reports. Recommends material and commodity purchases and maintains minimum\maximum stock. Prepares requisitions based on inventory level. Assembles, processes and maintains bills, invoices, departmental work orders and other records necessary for accounting and audit procedures. Prepares for yearly inventory for audit verification. Maintain supply and inventory storage areas. Supervise inventory and supply room operations and assure that proper inventories are maintained. Receives order requests from various departments and issues work orders to appropriate service providers.
