Job Description Our client, a leading Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company in Holland, MI, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter to join their dynamic team on the 1st shift. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of inventory data, contributing to the seamless operation of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory counts, adjustments, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
- Report findings and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Participate in periodic full physical inventory counts.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferences:
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime as needed.
