Work Setting: In-person.Location: Azusa, CATravel: High frequency travel by auto to OneLegacy facilities with use of company vehicle to perform essential functions.Summary of Functions:The Central Supply Inventory & Distribution Technician (IDT) will be responsible for overseeing the ordering/receiving of all clinical supplies and equipment; monitoring all deliveries, shelving and rotating of stock; keeping track of inventory levels for tissue and organ needs; and distribution of stock to supply depots at all OneLegacy locations. The IDT will coordinate the logistics of ordering, organizing, and distribution of all inventory supplies to maximize use and identify opportunities to eliminate waste. IDT will ensure that Central Supply Operations and Policy and Procedures relating to the functions described below are compliant with all regulatory requirements. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws.Duties & Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:Central Supply Operations Tasks:Stocking Responsibilities1. Transports organ/tissue supplies to Los Angeles and Orange offices and rotating and shelving items, tracking inventory volumes and discarding outdated items always ensuring adequate levels for clinical readiness.2. Monitors and coordinates the maintenance of proper par levels of recovery supplies at all OneLegacy recovery facilities.3. Monitors and examines recovery supplies usage at all recovery locations and adjusts the par levels accordingly within supply management system.4. Maintains constant communications with the recovery locations to monitor their recovery supplies needs.5. Coordinates all aspects of packing organ and tissue recovery supplies bins and packs.6. Assesses the need for and facilitate ordering new recovery instruments, coolers/bins and recovery supplies7) Coordinates all aspects of cleaning of Central Supply warehouse inventory storage areas recovery kits per OneLegacy's Policies and Procedures.8. Ensures cleanliness of central supply areas at each OneLegacy facilities as outlined in OneLegacy's Policies and Procedures. Responsible for daily disposal of trash and recycling receptacles in the Central Supply warehouse.10. Participates in routine materials inventory reconciliation to ensure proper utilization of supply management systems.11. Medical gas and air cylinder rotation to support donor management in facility. Removing gas lines, relocating cylinders, replacing cylinders, and gas line reconnection.12. Assists Manager to facilitate preparation of Central Supply Operations for internal or external audits/inspections.Secondary Duties1. Vehicle fleet support by supporting transport of vehicles to maintenance and repair appointments, refueling, and cleaning activities.2. Ensures compliance with Human Resources policies are completed within company guidelines.3. Attends all department staff meetings.4. Attends annual hazard communication and control safety training sessions for Cal-OSHA, contract processors, and other training programs as deemed necessary by the Project Manager of Organs and Tissue Operations.5. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state and local laws. Performs quality control practices as defined by the policies and procedures.6. Supports the organization's Standards of Professional Conduct as outlined in the OneLegacy Employee Handbook, and the mission, vision and values.7. Performs all other duties as assigned.8. Periodical availability after hours in case of emergencies.9. Works overtime as needed/required based on department needs.Job Qualifications and Requirements:Education: Associates Degree from a two year college, completion of Surgical Technologist, EMT program, or equivalent training in an affiliated health field preferred.Experience: A minimum of two years experience in supply management preferred.Certification/License: OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver's license and current vehicle insurance based on California minimum insurance coverage standards.Salary Range: $43,680 - $53,955.20Benefits
