Our Purchasing Department currently has an opportunity available for an Inventory Expeditor. TheInventory Expeditor position is responsible for expediting purchase orders for procurement of materials. *The Wasserstrom Company is currently operating under a hybrid schedule that incorporates both teleworking and in-office hours. Employees may be required to report to the office when requested by leadership &/or for their initial job training.Job Duties
- Expediting of purchase orders from various suppliers.
- Resolving receiving discrepancies.
- Provide timely information and follow-up to customer service issues relating to delivery and availability.
- Develop and monitor supplier performance measurements .
- Create and process vendor returns.
- Position involves a range of interpersonal contacts both within the organization and with the outside supplier community.
Requirements
- Preferred 1-2 years of inventory expediting experience.
- Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining attention to detail.
- Must have strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree with equivalent work knowledge preferred or with equivalent experience
