We are fully vertically integrated which enables us to complete tight timelines and exceed customer expectations.Come be a part of where the energy is; where the future of the composites industry is growing and where leading-edge technology companies come to develop the next generation of composite structures.Job Summary: We are looking for an Inventory Logistics Manager that can add structure and systems into our fast-paced Inventory and Shipping & Receiving (S&R) departments. This position will report to the Supply Chain Manager, and together, you will make improvements to how inventory and logistics are managed and processed at our organizations.Job Role:
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate inventory, managing our logistics providers, and implementing world-class receiving/storage and pick/pack/ship processes.
  • Work with Inventory and S&R specialist to create, streamline SOPs for their Respective areas ensuring training is conducted.
  • Provide leadership and coaching for the Inventory and S&R workforce
  • Ensure Purchasing and/or Consumption Conversion Factors for items are accurate
  • With ERP flow specialist Manage accuracy of issuing materials to work orders as well with Engineering and Planning to ensure Bills of Materials and Work Orders/Routers are accurate. Process updates to these as needed.
  • Establish practices that ensure the work area is always safe, clean and well organized
  • Implement best practices for control of inbound and outbound inventory
  • Manage with Inventory specialist a cycle count process that includes root cause/corrective actions for discrepancies
  • Analyse data to establish metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Establish relationships and agreements with small package, LTL/TL, overseas, and other logistics providers to ensure we are getting best value in terms of price, delivery and service.
  • Oversee the transportation of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Resolve any logistics issues for inbound or outbound shipments in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with S&R Lead to ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR requirements
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasting expenses, and allocating resources effectively Ultimately, responsible for ensuring internal and external customers' needs are exceeded through building a culture of continuous improvement and unflagging customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align logistics and warehousing activities with overall business strategy
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards governing logistics operations, including safety, environmental, and transportation regulations
  • Work with S&R specialist to Schedule vehicle maintenance Notify management of annual inspection and registration
  • Must adhere to health and safety procedures, and all workplace policies
  • Other Duties as assigned
