Job DetailsJob Details:We are a leading player in the thriving Cannabis manufacturing industry, seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is not for the faint-hearted; it's for those passionate about making a significant impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of inventory control, ensuring compliance with state cannabis regulations, and maintaining an efficient and effective tracking system. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.Responsibilities:As an Inventory Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the inventory levels of our cannabis products. Key duties include:1. Conducting regular cycle counts and maintaining accurate records of all inventory, ensuring discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved.2. Utilizing the METRC tracking system to manage the lifecycle of cannabis products, from receipt to distribution.3. Overseeing the management of incoming shipments, ensuring products are correctly received, stored, and logged.4. Conducting product shelf-life studies to determine optimal storage conditions and product rotation schedules.5. Reconciling physical inventories with system records to ensure accuracy and compliance with state cannabis regulations.6. Collaborating with the logistics team to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.7. Staying up-to-date with state cannabis regulations and ensuring all inventory practices are compliant.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. Must be 21 years or older.2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the cannabis industry.4. Basic knowledge of cannabis products and their various forms.5. Proven experience with cycle counting and tracking systems, preferably METRC.6. Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.7. Ability to reconcile inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.8. Experience conducting product shelf-life studies.9. Excellent knowledge of state cannabis regulations.10. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.11.
