Job Title: Inventory Manager

Summary

The Inventory Manager utilizes knowledge of Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts and Goods Returns to maintain the integrity of new and rebuilt parts inventory for the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Coordinates all incoming orders from inter-company stores, pick parts and give to shipper to ship.

* Receives all incoming shipments and enter parts received into SAP, returns, or coordinates the returning of parts into proper bins.

* Maintains No Bin Location report. Ensures all stocked items have assigned bin location(s) and parts are in proper bins.

* Maintains Negative Inventory Report; performs inventory adjustments as needed; addresses issues with store users.

* Maintains Sales Order/No Invoice Report; verifies shipment and billing of orders; investigates why not shipped or invoiced (may be a CA responsibility).

* Maintains In-Transit Report; coordinates with Shipping Clerks from other stores to track shipments.

* Maintains Past Due PO report, works with vendors and staff as to why PO remains open, ensures vendors ship to satisfy customer demand.

* Monitors Special Orders and PO backorders and gives to CA to accurately process as they are received.

* Performs Batch Maintenance in SAP to allow sale of items including cranks, engines, heads, etc.

* Coordinates with Counter Sales Asst and/or Warehouse Coordinator to tag and return returned parts.

* Assists Store Manager with Rebuilding and/or Reconditioning Cost Tracking.

* Assists Store Manager with Physical Inventory and Cycle Counts; investigates quantity variances and adjust inventory levels as needed.

* Coordinates training for new hires and monthly/quarterly training for store location as needed.

* Completes daily deposit.

* Coordinates, trains, and monitors the performance of management and staff through training programs, frequent feedback, regular performance reviews, and exceptional communication skills.

* Investigates and resolves service/quality complaints and performance issues, including disciplinary procedures as necessary or appropriate to achieve peak staff performance.

* Ensures implementation and adherence to Human Resources policies and procedures through enforcement and accountability.

* Performs all other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

* This position supervises employees within the department/division.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend and kneel on a regular basis.

* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

* Regular manual dexterity/coordination: hand/eye movements, motor control.

* Regular visual effort: concentrated reading of documentation or close viewing of computer displays.

* Able to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis.

Required Education/Experience/Skills

* High School graduate, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience particularly within the agriculture and construction parts sectors, preferred.

* Intermediate computer knowledge including e-mail, Word, Excel and inventory software.

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills

* Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment.

* Intermediate knowledge of the inventory control process.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
