Inventory/Receiving Clerk Hours are: Monday 6a-230p Tue 5a-130p Wed 6a-230p Thursday 6a-230p Fri 5a-130p

Tuesdays and Fridays approxamately 300 cases of food will be delivered and you will need to store these products accordingly.

General Summary:

This position starts at $18.00 per hour

The Inventory/Receiving Clerk will be in charge of inventory at Friendship Village kitchens, warehouses, and or offices. You will keep track of shipment schedules for both incoming and outgoing returns. Track inventory counts and check the items in inventory for damages or discrepancies. Other duties and responsibilities will/can include:

• Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods
• Assuring no damaged items are sent or received
• Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list
• Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory
• Packaging products for return to vendors and filling out any paperwork necessary
• Maintaining proper storage and cleanliness of all dry storage and cooler/freezer areas within the kitchens.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

2. Some computer knowledge is beneficial.

3. Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

1. Moderate physical effort which requires continuous lifting of 10 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

2. Carrying, pulling, pushing, stretching, bending, walking short distances, and standing for long periods.

3. Protective clothing is provided. Injuries are improbable and limited to burns, bruises, abrasions, and other minor injuries.
