For the first time in history, this influx of payload companies combined with reduced launch costs has resulted in a massive increase in need for commercial spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. These buses hold the payloads of our customers and are flown on launch vehicles. Apex manufactures these satellite buses as scale using a combination of software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. We'd love for you to join us on our mission of providing humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet. We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to work closely within the Supply Chain Team. The Supply Chain team is a key function in procuring & managing the production flow of goods and services to ensure manufacturing readiness. The inventory Specialist position in on site at the Apex Production facility. The main responsibilities are, receiving inbound materials, properly storing materials, kitting products for production, moving parts lineside, management of finished goods inventory, and accounting for all material accurately in both quantity and storage location. Responsibilities:

    • Receive and store all inbound materials in the appropriate storage locations
    • Cycle Counts as needed
    • Implement and develop inventory handling practices
    • Manage shelf-life concerns and ensure proper rotation of goods
    • Picking of parts and placing into kits for production readiness
    • Store and implement a receiving process that correctly quantifies and locates parts throughout the facility
    • Document receiving issues and ensure traceability of parts
Requirements:
    • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data
    • 1-3 Years of inventory control experience
    • MRP experience
    • Excel Proficiency
    • Ability to operate a forklift and relevant equipment
    • Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm
    • Must be willing to work overtime as needed
    • Ability to complete physical task such as lifting, standing, pushing, pilling, and more
