A company that provides freight forwarding and logistics services is looking for an Inventory Specialist. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining an accurate inventory of products within the warehouse. You will ensure the efficient tracking and movement of goods while working with the warehouse team.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the warehouse team to oversee inventory accuracy, conducting regular audits, and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies
- Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Update and manage inventory data in the warehouse management system
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to the Warehouse Manager
- Assist the Receiving Lead in the inventory and allocation of all incoming products
- Manage the placement and organization of the shipping and receiving area
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a related field
- Experience in inventory management
- Experience working in a warehouse environment
