Job Description:
Job DescriptionThe Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels within our manufacturing environment.
  • The role requires expertise in using an ERP to track, analyze, and report on inventory data, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control.
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Monitor and adjust stock levels as needed
  • Track inventory movements, generate reports, and analyze inventory data.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and updates to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to forecast inventory needs and initiate stock replenishment orders.
  • Track lead times and manage order schedules to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and ERP data.
  • Analyze inventory trends, turnover rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Prepare and present reports to management to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency.
  • Work on optimizing inventory control procedures and systems.
  • Collaborate with various departments including production, purchasing, and sales to ensure seamless inventory operations.
  • Provide support and insights to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory area.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of inventory management principles, and experience working within a manufacturing setting.
  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related role, within a manufacturing environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software and tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Work Schedule: 100% in office
