Job Type Full-time Description SUMMARY: Responsible for all coordination duties related directly to raw inventory management for the production department. Ensures materials are accurately received and documented within the system and conducts daily and weekly physical counts in order to analyze and report inventory levels. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Receive all incoming raw materials, ensuring accuracy of shipments, noting damage or shortages.
  • Comparing bill of lading with purchase order for correctness and completeness
  • Complete receiving and storing materials into inventory locations
  • Maintain inventory organization, adhering to FIFO
  • Conducting regular daily and weekly inventory counts as directed
  • Ensuring floor inventory is appropriately represented in the inventory software
  • Seeing that line staged product is put away. Monitoring this gray area
  • Enter purchase orders in inventory system.
  • Receive purchase orders in inventory system.
  • Follow the procedure to report any discrepancies to the suppliers found between orders and shipments.
  • Assist in reconciling actual counts to inventory levels in inventory system.
  • Research significant inventory variances by examining bills of material, receipts, shipments, transfers, production usage, etc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None. COMPETENCIES: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated supervisory and organizational skills. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous experience in the food/beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma.
  • Language Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret written instruction. Ability to present and respond to common inquires.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to provide guidance around formula validations and yield calculations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, analyze, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
