Inventory Specialist. Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage inventory processes, ensuring timely shipments, inventory progression, and accurate daily updates.
- Reconcile accounts, analyze actual costs, and identify inaccuracies, including cost prediction and recording for raw materials, labor, and operations.
- Maintain relationships with mills and clients, ensuring products are manufactured and distributed correctly while resolving any issues that may arise.
- Generate and send invoices, while managing inventory records, tracking damaged or incorrect inventory, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Order management and tracking
- Updating spreadsheets and key systems with transactional data such as expenses and sales revenues
- Reaching out (phone calls/emails) to mills and reload facilities to collect Bill of Ladings (BOLs)
- Entering purchase orders and order confirmations into order management software
- Processing shipping invoices for payment
Experience: - Bachelor's or Associate's degree is preferred but not required.
