Position: Inventory Specialist

Location: Utica, NY

Pay: $18.90/hour

Experience: Previous experience in retail automotive parts (e.g., Advance Auto Parts) or a similar field is highly transferable and preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, & Saturday, 6am to 6pm (Alternating Wednesdays)

Greene Resources is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Review emails throughout the day for requests.
• Fulfill and deliver a variety of orders, ranging from small items like screws to larger components, all within a one-hour window.
• Perform system-generated cycle counts using a laptop and scanner.
• Ensure accurate inventory reconciliation by labeling and scanning parts.
• Respond to and find solutions for employee requests and inquiries throughout the day.
• Receive materials and ensure proper storage in the spare parts room.
• Operate forklifts as needed to assist with material movement.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and tools (e.g., laptops, scanners).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle varying tasks with attention to detail.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a mix of administrative and physical tasks.
