The major function of this position is:

Oversee the day to day inventory management activities as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for finance and logistics leadership. Strive for accuracy and seek solutions for inventory accuracy issues. Conduct root cause analysis and provide clear feedback to the warehouse supervisors and floor leads in order to support improving our overall inventory accuracy. Primary backfill of order management coordinators.

The principle responsibilities and duties of this position are:

* Partner with the supervisors of both US1 and US9 warehouses to create cycle counting schedules. This includes scheduling daily and weekly counts, ensuring we're on track for meeting yearly deadlines: all A movers are counted monthly, B movers are counted six times per year, C movers are twice a year, and D movers are counted at least once per year.

* Prepare for cycle count observations with the auditors. Partner with finance and logistics leadership to plan test counts in advance of the observation and put together the final plan of actions.

* Partner with logistics leadership and the Rx lab to conduct their annual full physical. Be the onsite point of contact for any inventory process questions and work to submit final stock adjustment suggestions to both finance and logistics leadership.

* Conduct monthly case counts with the floors leads and supervisors. Submit reconciliation requests to finance and logistics leadership for approval for any stock adjustments.

* Review and log all inventory reporting requirements for logistics leadership including LX25 monthly status reports, Loss/Gain to track inventory accuracy measurements as well as bin accuracy and total bins counted across US1/US9.

* Direct inventory reconciliation of both US1 and US9 warehouses, including delivery not found orders, LS24 look ups on mis-picks, and 999 discrepancy research. Identify root cause issues that are driving bin accuracy issues and partner with the floor leads and supervisors to validate processes on the floor.

* Oversee all Incorp inventory, including directing pulls from the warehouse to QC, reports to upper management on availability of stock, working with finance to refresh our inventory reporting via EDH. Responsible for final reconciliation and cleanup activities for each Incorp shipment. Provide clear summary to both finance and logistics leadership on reconciliation activities and cost impact.

* Work to update and maintain inventory process documents related to cycle counting and stock takes for WM and IM as well as our overall inventory narrative for the auditors.

* Provide regular backup to Order Management Coordinators regarding the planning for key account, special handling, and consignment orders.

* Partner with the Logistics Analysts to build out inventory dashboards, and monitoring / reporting on efficiencies gained through improved inventory accuracy.

* Encourage and drive change. Operational excellence is the goal, and there is always room for improvement.

* Communicate and contribute ideas to supervisor and team to ensure department is moving toward goals.

* Perform all other duties as requested or required.

Desired Qualifications:

As a guide, indicated below is the preferred education and experience for this position:

High school graduate with 5 years inventory experience in a high-volume fulfillment or warehouse environment. College coursework or inventory management certificate preferred. Experience with inventory reconciliation and root cause analysis activities.
