Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking an Inventory Specialist in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the machining industry. Inventory Specialist Job Summary Pay: $19-20/hour based on Experience 1 st Shift: Monday -Friday Inventory Specialist Responsibilities
- Monitors and organizes the incoming materials for designated projects.
- Responsible for the daily incoming materials on hand counts
- Maintains project parts inventory levels through shortage reports and on hand counts.
- Address root causes of inventory errors and suggest corrective decisions
- Distributes all general information to the respective Supervisors and Team leaders throughout the manufacturing plant
- General filing duties
- Other duties as assigned
Inventory Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred
- Demonstrated time management, organization, and planning skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Can read and follow instructions with basic counting principles Analytical skills with multi-tasking abilities. Familiarity with basic excel spreadsheet. Working knowledge of computers and basic Microsoft office products. Capable of assuming responsibility. Physical Demands and Work Environment: This position will work in an office environment within a manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery and related noise levels. Position will be primarily working in a sitting position for up to six (6) plus hours typing and analyzing data. Frequent walking around the facility will be required. Why you should apply....
