Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:The Inventory/Admin Clerk position answers directly to the Shop Leader. This position will be in charge of maintaining inventory and assisting the Shop Leader with any other tasks as needed. The position will aid in the fulfillment of Action Resources' mission statement: Provide well maintained, safe and compliant equipment at best value to enable revenue generation.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Participate in inventory/parts related tasks including: issuing and receiving purchase orders, inventory/cycle counting, barcoding parts for stock, maintaining a clean and organized parts room.2. Return unneeded parts and assist in scheduled overstock/deadstock returns.3. Assist mechanics in identifying specific parts needs.4. Develop relationship with local vendors and consistently check on orders.5. File paperwork in a consistently and promptly to maintain up to date records.6. Assist Shop Foreman with clerical duties.7. Additional duties as assignedEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:•2-3 years of experience in parts-related field required, preferably with a fleet•Inventory/warehousing management skills are preferred•Warranty experience is a plus•Knowledge of VMRS/ATA codes is a plus•Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word•Proficient in data entry and 10 key.•Knowledge in TMW/TMT Transman is preferred but not required•High School Diploma or equivalent is required•Valid Driver's License•Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential•Detail-oriented, ability to work multiple tasks with varying deadlines•Experience with Dossier Fleet Maintenance Software a plus
