Job Description - Wholesale Inventory SpecialistTitle:Wholesale Inventory Specialist Location: Wholesale Division | Lititz, PA Classification: Full Time | Year-Round Count, grade and enter inventory into company software efficiently and accurately. Inventories may include counts, quality grades and locations of plants in the greenhouses or outdoor locations, seeds, tags, pots and other hardgoods.Other administrative and/or greenhouse job responsibilities will be assigned as needed to provide experience in various areas pertaining to inventories and to fulfill full-time hours.Responsibilities may include wholesale customer service, i.e. Checking out customers by counting customer picks and entering item quantities for invoicing.Education andExperience:Strong interest in and/or knowledge of plants required.Computer skills are necessary to be successful in this position. Experience in Microsoft Excel is required (capability to work with formulas is very helpful).Ability to learn and use updated software and technology.Must be detail oriented with a passion for numerical accuracy.Able to work and communicate well with others, although most of the time this job is performed as a solo occupation.Exceptional organizational skills as related to organizing inventories.Must be adaptable to changing priorities and varied responsibilities.Able and willing to work with hardgoods inventories such as tags and greenhouse containers as needed.Time Requirements:This is a year-round, full-time position with varied time requirements depending on the season.Ability to work overtime hours during seasonal demand, mainly during the Spring Season from mid-April to the end of May. Seasonal Saturday overtime work may be necessary upon request mainly during spring, but possibly occasionally at other times. At these times, Saturday work is shared by the office staff so no one has to work every Saturday.Physical Requirements:Drug-free workplace.Must be able to tolerate physical activity, including standing, walking or sitting for long periods of time, depending on task given.
