Overview
The Big O Inventory Specialist will perform inventory inspections at business locations.

Responsibilities
* Perform physical inventory counts, audits, and inspections of Store inventories to be reconciled to store records.
* Maintain record of audits.
* Identify, recommend and address operational process improvements.
* Effectively communicate inventory audit requirements and results with store managers and home office personnel.
* Schedule and complete inventory audits to ensure sufficient inventory to serve our customer base.
* Utilize POS software and Home Office software to build and maintain inventory levels.
* Follow posted work schedule and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.

Job Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Inventory management experience.
* Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
* Ability to perform detail work with accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
* Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and use technical materials.
* Organizational skills.
* Ability to set priorities and goals and develop plans for achieving them.
* Ability to work at a fast pace.
* Valid driver's license.
* Ability and willingness to travel locally and regionally on a regular basis. Travel may include overnight stays.
* Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or sitting) for up to nine hours per shift.
* Ability to walk for up to two consecutive hours.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to move and count inventory.
* Flexible schedule with availability during weekday business hours.
* Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate accurately and effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
* Ability to meet Company requirements, including successful pre-employment background and drug test.
* Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills
* Automotive parts or mechanical repair experience.
* Knowledge of inventory finance, automotive retail and dealership operations, or floor plan merchandising.
