We are a top beverage sales company looking for a proven professional to forecast, order, and track inventory for our vast portfolio to ensure we never run out of the products our customers need. Our Inventory Specialists tell us they love the sense of accomplishment this role brings, the ability to use numerical and beverage trends knowledge and their awesome co-workers!

Eat. Sleep. Order Beer, Wine and Spirits. Repeat: Our Inventory Specialists not only get to forecast product needs for our entire company, but they also verify inventory, monitor code dates, create plans for slow moving inventory, and use their beverage knowledge to help make decisions. We choose Inventory Specialists who feel the need to keep schedules, track progress, stay organized, and have strong analytical skills. This full-time position requires Monday-Friday availability.

A Day in the Life

  • Arrive to the office ready to be awesome
  • Use analytical skills and beverage knowledge combined with software data to forecast sales and place purchase orders with suppliers
  • Verify orders are accurate and communicate any discrepancies
  • Monitor code dates and communicate any issues
  • Identify any slow moving inventory so a plan can be created to increase sales
  • Make suggestions regarding product statuses
  • Monitor beverage trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent education and experience) in Business Administration preferred
  • One or more years' experience in forecasting preferred
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Strong analytical skills and numeric ability
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate processes and work well with various departments
  • Must possess superior communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly and efficiently while remaining calm and professional
  • Self-starter, highly motivated with a high productivity level
