About the role

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing Pharmaceutical site in Branchburg, NJ.

This person will support in the resources needed to fulfill utility and facility maintenance while maintaining cleanliness and inventory accuracy.

The purpose of this position is to provide support for the MRO department.

What youll do

The scope of this position includes, but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining up-to-date inventory accuracy.
  • Handling all spare parts on campus.
  • Provide items when requested either ahead of time, or as a rush request.
Support the management of inventory for campus-wide facilities:
  • Run the spare parts inventory using the Maximo CMMS.
  • Spend 70% of the workday in the field and 30% in the office.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures according to the clients needs.
  • Perform cycle counting activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Support the client by gathering materials needed to fulfill maintenance work orders.
  • Complete clerical duties including data entry, printing, filing, etc.
  • Process unused materials that are returned from the end-user.
  • Generate reports to assist in completing daily tasks.
  • Facilitate the repair and/or recertification of spare parts as needed.
  • Update spreadsheets and collaborate with the MRO team.
  • Approve, reserve, and deliver desktop requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of leading the sites inventory with attention to detail.
  • Focus on providing an excellent level of customer service.
Maintain documents associated with MRO activities:
  • Ensure that all documentation is scanned in a timely manner.
  • Copy and attach service reports and certificate of compliance as needed.
  • Assist in inspection requests for spare parts documentation i.e., Audits upon request.
Customer Service:
  • Process emails and requests from technicians, planners, or manufacturing.
  • Assisting customers with pulling spare parts from cages (for emergency and unplanned requests).
Maintain safety standards, policies, and culture:
  • Work with an awareness of your personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.
  • Perform the duties required by the MRO supervisor, including audit support, training requirements, safety requirements, actively participating in continuous improvement projects, etc.

What youll need

Understand inventory management and logistics is preferred but not required.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Processes is preferred but not required.

Minimum 1-3 years of experience handling inventory or technical documentation preferred; good organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
