Inventory Supervisor Job SummaryThe Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing and maintaining inventory levels. You will oversee the daily activities of the inventory staff, analyze inventory data, and ensure accuracy of inventory records. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies, as well as assist in the ordering and replenishment of inventory. eCommerce/3PL experience is a must.Inventory Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities Monitor and analyze inventory levels and customer purchase trends to ensure that goals are met and inventory is always available Develop, implement, and update inventory control procedures and policies to minimize losses and reduce costs. Supervise the receiving and stocking of inventory items Accurately record and document inventory data Provide guidance and leadership to the inventory staff Review inventory records and transactions for accuracy Track inventory levels and report on any changes or trends To establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting objectives To investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages Maintain a safe and secure inventory area Organize and facilitate shrink meetings and identify the root causes of shrink. Prepare and submit reports to managementInventory Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred Must have Ecommerce experience Previous experience as an Inventory Manager or related position Proficient knowledge of inventory management principles and practices Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Proficient in Excel is required
