Location: Carteret,NJ, USA
* Works closely with warehouse operations team to provide support in the research, investigation, problem solving, and reconciliation of cycle count discrepancies (i.e., shortages and overages).
* Maintains an organized inventory control processes for efficient storage and handling of merchandise.
* Conducts, directs and oversees statistical audits and other audit processes required to resolve errors and inconsistencies that affect inventory accuracy.
* Coordinates activities and proper handling of damaged and defective merchandise.
* Provides required reports to management on cycle count activities, discrepancies and shrinkages.
* Conducts annual physical inventory audits. Interfaces with internal / external auditors.
* Maintains an excellent customer relations and effective customer communication.
* Effectively plans labor requirements and ensure efficient utilization of employees and equipment.
* Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in Inventory Control management in a distribution, warehouse, 3PL environment.
* Knowledge of WMS / RF systems a must. Knowledge of Synapse system preferred.
* Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
* Excellent verbal / written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong conceptual thinking, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
* Innovative, energetic and team player.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible.
* Must have exemplary customer service skills.
* Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
