A day in the life...The Inventory Supervisor will be responsible for the overall control of inventory accuracy and management at the plant. Focusing on day-to-day operations of inventory control, which includes managing the cycle count program, conducting research on inventory discrepancies, and making necessary adjustments to inventory. This position reports to the Corporate Inventory control manager and communicates with plant leadership, and collaborates cross-functionally with Lindt US, Ghirardelli, and Russell Stover sights. You are key personnel in the Inventory & Warehousing groups serving Finance, Production, Supply Chain and Transportation to ensure inventory levels are optimized. What you will be doing...
  • Manages ABC physical inventory cycle count program, group KPIs and month end activities
  • Work with Plant accountant; monitor and communicate performance metrics. Analyze significant inventory adjustments to identify root causes and communicate to department leadership
  • Work with Corporate Inventory control Manager to maintain, develop and implement procedures that ensure high level of inventory accuracy while minimizing shrinkage
  • Tracks SAP EWM & IM cycle count procedures/processes to validate inventory adjustment activity
  • Collaborates with plant leadership, implements initiatives, and holds teams accountable while streamlining bottlenecks and improving inventory processes
  • Manage Plant aged/ slow moving inventory and work with cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Responsible for governing SAP IM/EWM inventory and exception managing processes, including analysis in purchasing, shipping, receiving, physical inventory, procurement, and production planning modules
  • Provides detailed ad hoc report and analysis to plant leadership
  • Trains and prepares plant for inventory audits
  • Implements group CI board for Physical Inventory, Shipping and Receiving team; holds process areas accountable and provides support for improving metrics
Do you have what it takes? (Basic Qualifications)
  • BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Operations or equivalent combination of education, and experience in warehousing, operations, or manufacturing environments
  • Three years' experience using SAP ERP; S/4 Hanna or ECC; IM, MM, EWM modules
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point
  • Problem- Solving and analytical Skills

  • OSHA standards, SOX compliance, and forklift safety training
  • Understanding of manufacturing production and distribution processes
  • Experience with 3PL providers
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

  • Safety. Your safety is important to us, so we provide protective gear. We also go through an in-depth Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training on your first day and continue to share safety tips daily
  • Surroundings. You'll be working around different machines - Schubert's, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and chocolate candy banks/steels.
  • Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs/ladders, and routinely lift 50 lbs.
  • Temperature. You will be comfortable year-round with our climate-controlled environment. Our temperatures are consistently around 63°F but could fluctuate depending on your specific role.
  • Smell. You will enjoy a variety of deliciously sweet aromas and you may end your day smelling like chocolate!
  • Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for food safety, personal safety and in guidance with our good manufacturing practices (GMP). Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required. Leather, imitation leather, or rubber boots or shoes must be worn in the kitchen and other areas when working around hot liquid/product or hot water.
