Job Description:
Description Position at Printique LLC. The Supply Chain and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for managing the ordering, inventory control and warehousing functions that feed raw materials to Printique's production process. This role is essential to ensure we have the materials necessary to meet our customers' needs while also responsibly managing our inventory levels. RESPONSIBILITIES: Logistics (Warehousing & Distribution)
  • Manage all receiving of materials from vendors - both physically and in the system
  • Ensure accurate inventory in the system at all times
  • Ensure we are following FIFO for items in the warehouse
  • Manage all releases and delivery of materials out to the work stations - both physically and in the system
  • Regularly report on inventory and ordering
  • Ensure we are always in stock to be able to produce product as needed
Order process
  • Issue all purchase orders to vendors in accordance with our needs and vendor lead times
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Check and verify item and quantity when receiving and shipping out
  • Report any discrepancies to vendors timely
Planning
  • Build and keep regularly updated the forecast that drives our ordering decisions
  • Coordinate with your colleagues in the business to anticipate increases in requirements far enough ahead so we can procure the necessary materials
Inventory
  • Reconcile the physical inventory records with system
  • Keep and track the precise records of all incoming and outgoing products.
  • Confirm receiving and shipping out daily to keep right daily inventory data
  • Report any issues such as shortages, overages, aging, etc
  • Participate in monthly physical inventory check
Continuous Improvement
  • Regularly review our inventory and ordering policies and procedures to improve our operations with respect to availability, cost and efficient use of inventory dollars
  • Implement improvements to drive value
  • Develop your team members in inventory/warehouse to improve performance
Performance
  • Recording of all transaction and purchase cost
  • Report and closing of monthly inventory to HQ
  • Develop to performance and method regarding to forecasting
  • This task has included purchase invoice and logistics invoices
Qualifications
  • Must have similar experiences of logistics and warehouse operations
  • Strong financial acumen is a plus
  • Data analysis skills
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must possess strong responsibility - self-directed, with independent judgment, accurate decision, and concentration
  • Must be proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must thrive in a team environment, but be able to take initiative and work independently
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $25.00. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience.
