Description:
The Inventory Supervisor oversees daily inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient materials flow, and compliance with safety standards. This role is responsible for managing receiving, warehousing, and distribution activities to maintain effective inventory control. The Inventory Supervisor is instrumental in optimizing storage solutions, training staff, and improving processes for better productivity and accuracy
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide direction and leadership to non-exempt employees in inventory, and warehousing functions.
- Ensure the accurate and timely movement of materials to meet production and shipping schedules.
- Maintain and enforce adherence to inventory procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Develop and lead training for inventory and warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Apply inventory management best practices, including 6S, Lean principles, and Kaizen for continuous improvement.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure efficient cross-functional processes.
- Identify and implement improvements for storage utilization, order accuracy, and inventory tracking.
- Promote a safe, efficient, and quality-focused workplace.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or training.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a similar environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and industry standards.
- Experience with process improvement techniques and warehouse safety standards.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
