INVENTORY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
: Job Details :

The Inventory Support Specialist will play a key role in assisting with the daily fulfillment of orders, maintaining cleanliness in the fulfillment area, and supporting the inventory management team. This role involves packing orders from our in-store kiosk, preparing pickup and delivery orders,answering customer inquiries via phone, and assisting with inventory audits. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and a team player who can ensure a smooth flow of operations in the fulfillment room.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment:

Pack orders that come through the in-store kiosk system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with product labeling and packaging regulations.

Prepare and pack customer pickup and delivery orders, ensuring all products are accounted for and ready on time.

Verify customer information and product details for each order to ensure compliance with New York cannabis regulations.

Customer Service:

Answer customer phone calls professionally, addressing inquiries about product availability, order statuses, and store policies.

Assist customers with questions related to their pickup or delivery orders, providing accurate and timely information.

Daily Audits & Inventory Support:

Assist the Inventory Manager with daily audits, ensuring accurate counts of products in stock.

Record and report any discrepancies or issues to the Inventory Manager.

Help maintain the organization of products in the fulfillment room to ensure an efficient workflow.

Fulfillment Room Maintenance:

Ensure the fulfillment room is clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards.

Keep packing stations stocked with necessary materials (e.g., bags, labels, packing tape).

Support to Inventory Manager:

Assist the Inventory Manager with any additional tasks, such as organizing stock, preparing products for inventory checks, or completing special projects as needed.

Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, especially over the phone.
• Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 50 lbs)

Desired Skills

• Inventory management experience in a retail environment
• Cannabis industry experience in a retail environment
• An understanding of the cannabis rules and regulations; a pursuit to further your understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws
• Familiarity with cannabis products and New York cannabis regulations (training will be provided).
• Experience with point-of-sale or order management systems is a plus.
