Job Description:
Description Acara Solutions is seeking qualified candidates to work at our client site in Rensselaer, NY. Here's what you will do:
  • Facilitate orders for consumable lab inventory replacement.
  • Manages customers point of use or stockroom inventory.
  • Responsible for logistical activities such as shipping and receiving of materials through coordination with 3rd party couriers.
  • May handle and manage chemicals, includes hazardous materials.
  • Basic order entry and follow up on existing back-orders.
  • Maintains and checks safety stations.
  • Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Clean-room garment management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is required. At least 2+ years customer service, inventory replenishment, or material handling experience. At least 2+ years Microsoft Office. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Strong communication. Excellent customer service skills. Display a professional, can-do demeanor. Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality. Problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Spill containment training, IATA, DOT, and OSHA Right to Know experience is desired. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Enjoy fast paced environment.
