The Company

Cascade Asset Management was formed in 1999 to provide comprehensive information technology equipment retirement services for businesses, institutions and municipalities. The company now operates full scale processing facilities in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Florida and collects between 300 - 400 tons of computers, office electronics, consumer electronics and test equipment each month from sites across North America. The Position

We're looking for people with a great attitude who want to work with their hands, have an interest in technology, and want to take care of the earth. The primary purpose of an Inventory Technician is to perform initial sorting and processing of equipment that is received in the warehouse. This position will have responsibility in four primary areas:

1) Efficient and controlled receipt of inventory,

2) Appropriate sorting and staging of inventory for processing,

3) Accurate recording and tracking of inventory in accordance with Cascade and customer requirements,

4) Training and assisting other staff to support these activities.

You offer:

* A positive attitude and willingness to work hard

* Proven attention to detail

* Experience with inventory and inventory concepts preferred

* Experience moving and unloading equipment using material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, lift carts etc., is strongly preferred

* Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or technological environment preferred

* Basic computer skills for minimal database entry tasks preferred

Salary Range: Full time, non-exempt, $18.42 - $24.71, based on experience and qualifications

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
